A rough storyline for my film

Storyline

A common theme in horror movies is that there is one main antagonist throughout the movie who crease the sense of horror in a horror movie. Antagonist is often a male as this is just a generic convention of horror movies. 

There is almost always a protagonist or group of people in danger as a result of the antagonist in the movie and often results in death from one of the two parties. 

My horror movie is going to go against the conventions of a typical horror movie as the protagonist is going to be male whereas in traditional horror movies, the person in danger would almost always be female. However, the antagonist is still going to be male. 

Typically, the people in danger in a horror movie are either female or children or both. Rarely is there a grown man in danger in a horror movie as that is often the demographic chosen to be the antagonist. For these reasons, my movie will be going against the conventions,
