Conclusion

In conclusion, each of the five movies that I have looked at all use largely different techniques introduce both the characters and the general theme of the movie whilst also setting the scene.

As a general theme, most opening sequences of movies tend to introduce the protagonist before introducing the antagonists.

This is because directors want the audience to be engaged in the movie and one way of doing this is by making the protagonist(s) relatable and the audience will side with them throughout the movie.
