Script for the opening sequence
Script
There will not be much dialogue throughout the opening sequence as I have found in my research that there is much more suspense in a scene when there is no dialogue and instead just dramatic music.
Therefore, there will only be a short amount of dialogue in the first scene when the protagonist is walking towards his car and is on the phone telling his friend that he is on the way and will be there soon.
The conversation will go as follows:
Scott (protagonist) - Hi, Daniel it's Jake. I've been thinking about coming down to see you.
Oscar (friend) - No, whatever you do, don't come here. Not a good time, not a good place.
Scott (protagonist) - What's wrong?
Oscar (friend) - It's this place, these people, they'll.... they'll know.
Scott (protagonist) - Listen stay there. If I leave here now I can be there in about seven hours.
We will record this the studio when editing the movie so that we can insert the audio for the telephone conversation.
