Suicide Squad opening sequence

Suicide Squad:

             

• The opening sequence of Suicide Squad introduces four of the main protagonists. (two of which are anti-heros as they are criminals in jail who are made to fight for the government)

• The fact that the opening sequence is set in a prison gives an overarching theme for the movie which is based around criminals from this prison.

• It is clear to the audience that this is an action movie as it is based in a prison and uses upbeat non-diegetic music.
